Terms of Service
Effective July 14, 2026. Written in plain language on purpose.
The agreement
Sproutable (sproutable.ai) helps founders take a raw idea to a named, branded, launched company. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. Questions, billing issues, anything at all: support@sproutable.ai.
The service
Sproutable generates ideas, names, brand kits, websites, and investor pitch decks with AI, and helps you claim the surrounding pieces — social handles, a domain, business email — through partners. Everything generated is editable and yours to change; nothing is claimed, registered, or purchased on your behalf without your explicit action.
Name, domain, and handle availability checks are best-effort: we check what can be checked at the moment you ask, and availability can change between the check and your claim. Sproutable is not a law firm. Generated content — including any name or trademark screening — is a starting point, not legal advice. For trademark clearance or company-formation questions, talk to a professional.
Your account
You need an account to build. Keep your sign-in email accurate — it's how we reach you about billing and your projects. Accounts are for one person (paid tiers state their seat counts); we may suspend accounts that abuse the service or these terms, with existing work remaining exportable per the ownership section below.
Plans, credits & billing
Paid tiers bill monthly or annually, in USD, through Stripe — card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Current plans and prices are on the pricing page; the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
AI generation is metered in credits. Subscription credits refresh on your billing anniversary, with unused credits rolling over per your tier's policy. Credit top-up packs are one-time purchases and never expire while you're subscribed. Every charge — subscription or top-up — comes with a Stripe invoice, available any time from the billing portal in your dashboard settings.
Refunds & cancellation
14-day no-questions refund on your first subscription charge — email support@sproutable.ai. Pass-through purchases made on your behalf (like a domain registration) are refundable only until provisioning succeeds: a registered domain cannot be unregistered, and checkout says so before you pay.
You can cancel any time from the billing portal. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the paid period — nothing already generated is clawed back. If a card payment fails, generation pauses while Stripe retries, but everything you already made stays readable and downloadable. We never hold your work hostage over a failed charge. Unused credits lapse when the subscription ends — they're the subscription's consumable.
Ownership & portability
The standing promise: assets are owned; managed convenience lapses. Your domain is registered in your name and transferable out with the auth code surfaced in the app. On any paid tier, brand assets are downloadable and your website content and a static build are exportable — and they stay that way after you cancel, with no watermark added retroactively; the hosted site is the managed convenience that ends with the subscription. Pitch decks you generate export as PDF and PowerPoint files that are yours to keep; only the tracked share link lapses with the plan. Export and download are paid-tier capabilities. A free account is the live hosted ‹slug›.sproutable.ai site and in-app editing; its project data stays readable in the app, but taking assets out is part of upgrading.
Acceptable use
Don't use Sproutable to create or promote anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful; don't abuse the AI generation, free allowances, or availability checks (automated scraping, bulk account creation); don't resell access to the service itself. Agency tiers may build for clients — that's the point — but each Sproutable account remains the responsibility of its holder.
Billing questions & disputes
If a charge looks wrong, tell us first: support@sproutable.ai. We answer quickly and refund per the policy above — almost every billing surprise is faster to fix with us than through your bank. This doesn't waive any rights you have with your card issuer.
Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided as is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can't guarantee generated content is fit for a particular purpose, that availability checks are perfect, or that the service is uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
Changes
If these terms change materially, we'll update the effective date above and note the change plainly. No silent edits.
